This is week 8 for me in a 10k plan. I already completed a 5k plan without issue.
I normally have 5 workouts per week. I started this week with 2x easy runs and 2x goal pace repeats and the 5th workout was TBD. It was the first time that I remember two goal pace repeats in a week, which surprised me a little. For context, I did have to pause the plan due to a minor surgery, I took 10 days to return. This is my first week back.
I completed 1x easy run and 1x goal pace repeat before checking on the 5th work out. It populated as another goal pace repeat. The subsequent two workouts also populated as easy runs. As this is my first week back, I have no problem just skipping the third GPR. But I wanted to see if any one else experienced 3x GPR in a single week. Is this actually an intended part of the workout plan or is there something I am doing that triggers this workout in the algorithm?
