Corrupt fit file repair request

Greetings,

Had a great ride today but the file won't load from my Garmin EDGE into Garmin connect or Strava (error about corrupt file). Can still see the ride on my Garmin but no details other than distance and duration. I think all the data is there as the file size is appropriate (the FIT file is 522KB). Have tried the various online tools with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi,

had a look at the provided fit file, it is 512kb but it only contains zero values, no ride data at all

Have you ever seen anything like that before? Super odd. At end of my ride I was able to access all the data on my Garmin (Max power, avg, normalized, avg speed, max speed, etc.) but now even on my Edge 530 all i get is distance and duration. Everything else gone. The ride I did the day before uploaded to Garmin Connect properly but now appears to be the same (no data - just distance and duration). All other rides appear intact.

Any ideas on how to prevent it from happening again? I believe my last two rides have both had the same issue - though fortunately the second last had the data uploaded before corrupted. Thank you again for your help!!!!

but you can do this

backup content of activities folder and delete folder content afterwards
