Average Power for Zoomed Interval

This has been asked before, but it seems like nothing is planned for this request.  During a ride, I climb a hill.  After the ride, I can zoom in to the interval for the climb, but it does not show me the average power.  It would be a very valuable feature to show average statistics for a zoomed interval.  By the way, Strava has this feature which is used by many cyclists.

In theory, one can use the lap function to mark the climb as a lap and study the lap statistics.  But one does not always know when a climb is coming up, or sometimes we change the route as we go.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you can use the Trim function, temporarily trim the activity to the desired section, and then restoring the original again, once you reviewed the section data. No data is lost during the trim / restore, and you can repeat the operation as many times as you need.
