Garmin Guided Training Plan - Restart Plan or Extend Date?

I had a race about 24 weeks away but wanted to start a training plan.

I used coach Greg's 14 week plan. I'm now 10 weeks into the plan and the race is 14 weeks away.

What is the difference of if I move the race date out put myself on week 10 of 24 vs restarting the plan and be on week 1 of 14?
