Error when uploading merged activity

Hello! I mistakenly ended my activity mid-run, at which point I started a new one right away. I've merged the two FIT files (using fitfiletools.com), deleted the original two activities from Garmin Connect, and attempted to upload the merged file, but I keep getting the error: "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again." Should I just wait and try again later? Thanks for any help you can provide!

Fixed using Fit File Repair Tool

If the first partial activity is already uploaded to Garmin Connect, you'll need to delete that one, otherwise Garmin will sense a duplicate file…

- Zip the files, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >>

Zip the files, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit files to a reputable file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.
