Convert treadmill activity to walking

I would like to copy my treadmill activity and rename it to treadmill walking and have it mapped as a walking activity is there any good way to do this?

I knew how to do that. I want to change the activity so that it's walk when it get recorded. When I change the activity type after the fact I have other apps that have already synced and don't update after the change.

so far I just copied the walk activity and turned off GPS.. this might be the best way to do it?

Do you not have a WALK INDOOR activity?

I use the WALK INDOOR activity (no GPS, which is the WALK activitry) regardless of if I'm walking on the indoor track or a treadmill. Works fine.

I do now!... but I had to create it. (by copying "walk" and turning off GPS)
