Calorie's counted on Edge 840 are not reflected in Connect (overwritten by incorrect Fenix calorie count?)

I just completed a 115km ride, recorded on Edge 840. I was wearing a Fenix 7 but not recording on this. On saving the ride, the Edge and Connect showed 2800cal burned. This was shown briefly in iOS Connect. However, when I checked again it now shows an active calorie burn of 99cal, even though the ride is saved and showing. I'm guess the Fenix calorie burn is overwriting the Edge activity, which is obviously not the correct thing to do. Is this a bug?

As an aside, the 2800cal is copied to MyFitnessPal, but with a -2800 also shown!!

Recently I bought brand new 840 expecting that it will enhance my bicycle rides, but unfortunately I really disappointed with my decision. I am wearing also Fenix 7 Solar and HRM Pro+, but not starting an activity there (this is the reason that I bought Edge 840 right?), to do so I am using my Edge 840. It has to do only one thing, which is, after ending my activity, it should be transferring all of the data has been logged during my ride (calories, heart rates and stress charts are way off and not synced with my ride at all)... After paying additional 500€ for this device, I think we should not be expecting less than that...

Same here. Garmin 840 and marq 2 watch. Happened yesterday for first time. Please advise!

I changed to the new connect software and then it worked well for 3 days, after that the same problem, after biking using my Edge 840 the calories are not reflected on the Garmin connect...
