MFA Code mails - WITHOUT any code

Am I the only one receiving MFA Authentication mails that are supposed to include a verification code but doesn't?

I am very pro 2FA/MFA but I think Garmin is failing bigtime on this. First of all I'd like to be able to use e.g. Google Authenticator (because it works).

But I'm also very disappointed in Garmin's ability to recognize/remember already authenticated devices/browsers. Quite annoying to verify the same browser several times a day!!

I've tried to find other threads with similar problems, but only the recognized devices seems to be mentioned somewhere (not the mails without a code). It's pretty hard to authenticate your device without a code.

I came across the same issue, where Garmin Drive demands 2FA. An alternative is to use a different Garmin account just for Garmin Drive. This is what I've done. Seems to be working well.

Sorry. Forgot this.. I could of course disable it at: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/account/security/mfa/

But Garmin Drive require MFA. So I cannot use Garmin Drive features with my DriveCam76 without MFA. A wonderful "Catch 22". :-(

Go to Garmin | Account | Create, then use a different email address to sign up. Use that email address when setting up the Garmin Drive app.

Thanks! Nice workaround, hadn't thought about it. I've just registered a new account for this purpose only.

Shouldn't really have to (if MFA just worked properly). But cheers, I'll see how it works out. :-)
