Privacy Zones on Historical/Past activities

Been adding more zones to my connect account, and wondering if zones are retroactively applied to historical/past activities? I can't find anything on this.

The privacy zones are applied when the activity is viewed so it will work for all you past and future activities. If you move or remove the zones they are moved or removed for all activities.

You can very easily test it. View one of your activities in an incognito browser.
