Resting Heart rate - does it exclude when the watch is not worn?

Hi,

I do not like to wear my watch every night when I am sleeping. Does this impact my resting heart rate calculation? As in, will the "zero" heart rate when I am not wearing my watch be calculated in for my resting heart rate when I am not wearing the watch.

I ask this because my resting heart-rate is showing as 65.

Similarly, does this impact the Body Battery % if I am not wearing it in my sleep.

Thanks!

No, zero HR is not a HR, so no it won't be counted. However, when not wearing the watch when sleeping, the Resting HR detected during the day may be considerably higher than it would normally be, and that would have an important impact on diverse metrics, including the calculation of Active Calories, Intensity Minutes, etc.

Yes, of course, it does. When the HR is not being monitored, the watch cannot measure the stress, and cannot detect whether you rest and recover.
