Track overlays missing from map

I used to be able to see various colors of my track based on my power on the map in Connect, but for some reason in the past few days, that's gone.  All I see is a solid colored line.  Is there some setting somewhere that enables this that I might have inadvertently disabled?  I clicked on the button with the three stacked squares on the map, and the dropdown shows "Google, HERE, OpenStreetMap" etc. but no option to enable the colored overlay.  Am I missing it?

  • Still broken for me, too.   On the  PC map I only have None and Run/Walk dropdown options which means my map only shows a single color on the overlay.  On my iPhone I have multiple other options including "Pace" which shows the multi-colors indicating speed.   The speed multi-colors on the map were the best part of the connect app for me, and it's not nearly as helpful seeing it on the phone.    Anybody hear any more news about whether they are (still) working on returning the feature to the PC?

  • Don't give me a reason to go to Strava

I agree. Is this a feature that Strava has?

  • Has something happened to the pace map ?  When I upload my runs to my computer from my Forerunner 55 it now only shows my route and not how fast I was going along it.  It is still showing my pace on my iPhone.  Is there some setting on the webpage on my computer I can change to rectify this, or has the pace map been done away with ?

    Thanks !

    Colin

  • Noticed this first a couple of days ago. It still works on the androd/ios apps

    1) Un-break Please.

    2) Stop breaking stuff when you make changes. There are ways to manage this. On both firmware issues and back end stuff like this Garmin is effectively advertising itself as subpar on all things quality engineering related.

Not saying bad things about Garmin. They do it to all by themselves.

I raised a similar issue on the web Connect interface when load focus disappeared for about 3 weeks a while back. No response though it was 75% fixed after those 3 weeks and then promptly broken a bit more again some days later. It now sits at about 60% as useful as before broken. I expect about the same level of care and attention here.

  • Has something happened to the pace map

Yes. Joined your post to the main thread.

  • This appears to be fixed now. Please check on your end.

Received email response from Garmin Support:

We were having an issue with the different overlays in Connect on the web, but that should have been fixed as of today. Can you check if it is working for you now? If it is not can you try logging out of your Connect account, close your internet browser, then open it again and log in to Connect again and see if that fixes it? Please let me know if it doesn't.

  • Yay!!  Works for me too!

  • YAY! Thanks for fixing!
