Track overlays missing from map

I used to be able to see various colors of my track based on my power on the map in Connect, but for some reason in the past few days, that's gone. All I see is a solid colored line. Is there some setting somewhere that enables this that I might have inadvertently disabled? I clicked on the button with the three stacked squares on the map, and the dropdown shows "Google, HERE, OpenStreetMap" etc. but no option to enable the colored overlay. Am I missing it?

I haven't yet -- wanted to first confirm that the cause of the issue wasn't user error, and it seems it isn't.

I raised the issue with Garmin Technical Support via Chat (few minutes ago). They acknowledged the issue and are working on resolution. Unfortunately there is no tracking nor follow up possible. They just told me that we just need to wait for resolution whenever it comes.

I’m glad it’s not just me. Even previous bike rides that did have the colors just show red.

It's baffling that they can't maintain basic functions that have been there for years. If we just lost detailed data at my job, with no idea how to get it back or when we would be able to, there would be a lot of job advertisements for more qualified people.

+1 on this. I like Garmin Connect. Don't give me a reason to go to Strava.

Just contacted Chat, not very helpful. Was told overlays not available on Web. When I know they were as I used them on a daily basis as a training tool.

What's going on here? Until this week when I opened an activity in Connect (web) my run route would show up in multi-colours related to my pace or heart rate or elevation if I selected those instead. Now it's gone, there's no option to switch them on in the drop down list and all I can get is my track shown as a red line. Meanwhile in the Android Connect app everything is working as normal. Any ideas?
