Add Racket Sports as an activity in Garmin Connect

Which watch do you have? Some Garmin watches already have the padel activity profile.

Please, can you add racket sports to the Garmin Connect android app? I mean squash, badminton etc. (Right now all I can find is Tennis)

These sports are very popular in many countries so you should at least consider it :)

I have it on my watch but not in the Garmin Connect android app.. so basically there's no point having it on the watch... When I upload it on the phone it puts the activity under "Other".

I see what you mean. Even though a Padel activity will say "Padel" for the name of the activity on Garmin Connect, it is in the Other type. I tried both indoor and outdoor padel. They both are in the activity type Other.

I've submitted a case to Garmin Support. I suggest anyone wanting this fixed do the same. Also, pickleball will do the same, as there is no specific pickleball in Garmin Connect, even though the activity profile is on my watch (Epix Gen 2). I suspect they might ask me to submit a request, as this is not a bug.

Thanks for the support! I also already shared the idea about racket sports in general! (Thank you for the link :)) Padel is not the one sport I play often but I'd love to see badminton and squash on the app for sure! I'm sure lots of people think the same :D 

l was starting with the activities that already exist as profiles on some watches, such as pickleball & padel.

Received an email response today from Product Support. As expected, they are stating this is working as designed and suggest that we use the Have an Idea link to submit this as a formal request.

Uh since when? Finally, nice. :)

That's why we need changelogs, so we don't have to manually go through everything to find new features.
