Major Bug in Reports: Training Load has completely disappeared from the report. New 'Huidig' page is shown as completely empty

Major bug in Report pages since a new page called 'Huidig' is introduced:

The Training Load distribution is completely gone!

If the 'Huidig' Tab/page is chosen, I only see some information in one very short flash on the screen. It's so short that it is impossible to read anything at all and what's left is an empty screen. See hereunder:

Where has the Training Load gone. Fix this MAJOR BUG A.S.A.P..

What's the use of adding an empty page in the Garmin Connect Web app. Which amateur has wrecked the report pages completely again

  • It works for me:

Try reloading the page without the browser cache. Easiest is to reload with ctrl+shift+R.

  • e7andy, this doesn't work and of course I already tried it before I posted this Major Bug.

They have combined data again which MUST NEVER BE COMBINED. They have forgotten that people who don't train with power meter still need to see the Training Load distribution (low and high aerobic and anaerobic)

This is an old major flaw which appears when there is retrieval of data from data bases to be done a bit different than before. It also takes aaaaggggeeeessss before the 4weeks, 6 months and 1 year pages are loaded. The URLs are not updated properly in the current version of Connect and the Back End of Express. There is 'data tromboning'.

It is the sh*** version again where the 6 months and 1 year graphs give different 7 day training loads in the same week where also BOTH ARE WRONG!

  • ... and where do you have this graphical display which used to be available before we had this useless empty Current/Huidig page? like the one in the example hereunder:

This graph has totally disappeared from the Reports. It cannot be retrieved and it's also gone from my E1030 plus, see hereunder:

Of course this E1030+ issue is also reported on that specific page on the forum

  • Click the Load Focus box and you get it:

  • Obviously you still did not read it or get it: There is nothing to click on as THAT PAGE IS EMPTY! as I wrote already twice! What is unclear about EMPTY.

Look at my screenshot in the original post. Try to get that RED circle around that field in my screenshot of the empty page! You can't and therefor it has disappeared

Btw: where is your graph then as it used to be available? I don't see it. It only says Anaerobic shortgae but it can nowhere be seen how much is counted in LAer, HAer, Anaer so also not how far oof you are at Anaer

  • I thought you had fixed it. Have you tried different browsers and connections?

Click the box and the exact same overlay as you posted will be visible.

Edit: Now I'm at the computer again and can post what it looks like when I click the Load Focus box:

  • I have never written that it was fixed which is also impossible because IT"S A Garmin Major SW Bug!

What is unclear about it. Garmin had last Friday the old version without the 'Current' Tab live again and then it worked again (partly btw, 'cause there are other major bugs as well in the latest versions of Connect Reports where there are more complaints about from other users but mainly posted on the device pages)

I suggest to first follow a very basic SW development and web/internet training before commenting on these kind of posts in the future. Then you can learn what's a Major Bug and why it is nonsense in these kind of cases to suggest things like refreshing the webpage, trying another browser etc.

There it is also learned that a proper SW developer should always (let) test their SW which is never done by Garmin.

Take it from a SW and Data base development pro please

  • If you are a pro then you should try to find the cause of it. Claiming it is a major bug without knowing what is causing it doesn't sound like you work as a developer.  Apparently it is working for other users so it is likely something with your environment that makes you experience it. Have you tried different browsers, devices and networks? Have you checked the console for exceptions that could explain the issue you are experiencing?

What environments are you using and have tested with?

  • It is a major bug and i am not hired nor paid by Garmin to debug their SW. Learn the definition of what a major bug is and then you will see it's a major bug.

You obviously do not have any real knowledge and/or experience and still haven't really read what i have written earlier. You have not taken into account that you're in another part of the world then i am which means my data is stored at another bunch of servers than yours. Also you missed the fact that i already said that this is a bug highly likely to appear for people who do not use a power meter. so READ. IT IS A SW ISSUE IN THE GARMIN CODE and other people are reporting on the device fora. and you are not other users only one other user (single not plural)

  • What you must do is to create a support case by contacting Garmin here: https://support.garmin.com/

I have no idea if you've done that. What you write here is not a support case and all needed information is missing so it is very very hard to reproduce it.
