Delete bogus personal step records

My Connect account has bogus old personal records for steps that pre-date my device. I am unlikely ever to break the records140,000 in a week). The support says these can be deleted by selecting the bin on the right of the data, but there is no bin there. I can see the bin on my more recent (real) personal records. Is there anyway to get rid of this old, bogus data?

You are right, only run/bike/swim/strength records can be deleted, not the step records. You could go to the concerned week on the page Daily Summary, and delete the data for all concerned days, though I am not sure whether it will delete the records too.

You could also create a new account if you do not want to keep your old data.
