How can I fix a corrupted file that won't upload? (Forerunner 35)

I went for a half marathon run this evening with my 35. I can see all of my run stats on my watch after the run, but the data would not upload to garmin connect. I attempted a manual upload and received an error message. Does anyone know if there are any solutions? I uploaded a google drive link to my .fit file: [resolved]

Avoid stopping or pausing during an activity

Sync your watch, backup the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder, then do a full master reset of your Forerunner 35 using these directions - Restoring All Default Settings

Perform a weekly cleanup of the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities to Free Up Space. The F35 seems to have problems with longer activities, so this step is important before a longer event.
