Golf clubs can't be removed - they all reappear (apparently this is by design)

I'm calling this a bug report:

I went into my gear list on Garmin Connect Web and found a whole bunch of golf clubs.

I do not golf, nor do I own golf clubs.

Attempting to remove the clubs... I get down to one. If I remove that final club, Garmin repopulates my gear list with an entire bag of golf clubs.

Anyone else notice this and has it been reported? I've never noticed this behaviour before.

They have been able to recreate the issue. As I have mentioned before this is by design and does not effect the performance of your watches.

They are recommending you submit a feature request: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/

I did what you did, but instead of deleting the last one, I retired it. Shows up in "retired gear" though.

It's a good workaround but, of course, an annoyance to see it at all.

I opened a ticket with Garmin and have uploaded videos of what's going on so hopefully someone will sort this out.
