Group photo in Gamin Connect

I don't know why I'm having such a hard time with this. Trying to upload/save a group photo.

I can upload a picture to Garmin Connect/Groups/Group Photo, but it won't save. Using Windows 10. Tired JPEG, JPG, GIF, PNG. Size is 100 MB (edit: 100 kB not MB). It will load fine but won't save. Previous picture that was saved on there won't save either. I have iOS, so I can't do it from the mobile app. Tried to do it from Connect/Safari on the phone, no luck. Tried Egde, Chrome, and Firefox, Windows 10, on luck.

I just tested it - I created a new group. Adding the initial photo worked without problems, but when then trying to change it, it indeed does not work - it removed the original photo, and the new one was…

That's the problem. File size limitation is 10 MB, which is already unnecessarily huge. Normally, a photo for a web site, does not need to be bigger than some 100-200 kB for a very decent quality. It means thousand times less than what you are trying to upload.

Got my units of measurement wrong, sorry. The size limit is 2 MB, 2048kB. The picture I'm trying to upload is 100kB. It uploads fine. If the picture was too large it would not let you upload it to begin with.

After editing/cropping the image, the ADD IMAGE button is not greyed out and it lets me add it. On the next screen I select SAVE, I get the message that the changes were saved, but it never saves the picture to the profile.

I just tested it - I created a new group. I recommend contacting the Support. Otherwise, the only workaround I see, is creating a new group, since the first upload works fine.

Okay, thanks for giving it a try. Ill post back if I hear back from them. Happy holidays.
