Garmin45s -i went for 15 mile run and during the save, it crashed and rebooted/went funny. A play symbol appeared. Ive checked online to see if its my activities, but sadly it isnt’ . Gone isnt it? its recorded the steps as usual, but no run

Garmin45s -i went for 15 mile run and during the save, it crashed and rebooted/went funny. A play symbol appeared. Ive checked online to see if its my activities, but sadly it isnt’ . Gone isnt it?

To see if the activity (FIT file) is corrupt, try a manual upload to Garmin Connect Web - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file. In that case, please attach it to this thread. We can take a look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.

I tried a manual upload in garmin and it worked

i looked in my activity page can only see runs i did a few days ago.

think when it crashed/reset itself during save it lost the data

They shouldn't disappear. The data is saved in the cloud and are not removed due to your watch crashing. Just make sure you've logged into Garmin Connect with the same account you've used in the past. I have activities going back to 2004, but they are all under the same Garmin account
