Steps count not visible in activity on Garmin Connect

Hello.

I had a walking activity. My Garmin device counted steps made during this activity. But when I look at this activity on Garmin Connect webside, there is no steps count visible. There is only info about average steps per minute. Could you add a count of all the steps made during the activity please?

You can also calculate the number of steps pretty ok by multiplying the average run cadence with the number of minutes.

Example:

Steps to Fit reported for an activity of mine: 8761 steps

The average run cadence was 163 spm and it was 53 minutes 49 seconds long. 163 * (53 + 49/60) = 8772

Thanks for those suggestions :) I calculated it by multiplying exaclty the way you described it, but it would be easier just to have this information given directly.

As suggested, use the CIQ data field "Steps to FIT" in walking activity. Been using for indoors and outdoors.
