Sync from Rouvy to GC to Strava?

I just re-subscribed to Rouvy for my off-season. I primarily use GC because my daily tracker is a Fenix, so I use GC to push to Strava and Intervals.icu. I did an FTP test and a virtual ride, and they showed up in GC but not Strava. If I do a ride, workout, kitesurf, or other activity that I track with Edge or Fenix, it shows up in GC and gets pushed to Strava. When I used Rouvy in the past it pushed from GC to Strava, and I've solved the problem by syncing directly to Strava from Rouvy now, but what gives? Discrimination against virtual rides? I couldn't find any relevant settings that may have been misconfigured... and it happened twice so didn't appear to be just an anomaly.

  • Garmin will not forward data from a 3rd party service to another 3rd party service. So, the solution to let Rouvy sync directly to Strava is the correct solution.

Information Sent From Garmin Connect to Connected Third-Party Websites

"NOTE: Garmin Connect will not forward data that has been received from one third party fitness website on to another third party website that is also linked to your Garmin Connect account. This aligns with the policies of other third-party services and helps to prevent duplicate data from occurring across accounts."
