So we now get badges by just asking for them? I should ask for the special watch badges or diving and skydiving. :D
not really. we did make the requirements for the badge, and Garmin did not do it on their part. By the time they fixed the 1st badge we couldn't share it "on the same day" (or the same day's definition is not that easy with 24 timezones...) so we asked them to fix it
"Can you please award me with all existing and discontinued badges. Thanks." ;)
not enough. Also those badges that are still active but need a watch brand that is no longer sold by Garmin. Or they could send us all those watches :)
But I empathize again that we were not bagging for some random badge but one that we saw for at least half a year and had planned for it in advance. AND most importantly we proved to Garmin that we did activity + user action that was supposed to award the badge to us according to the badge's "advertisement".
I don't think Garmin employees will take the time to check accounts, whomever asks gets it. ;)
I'm not a Garmin employee but if I was them then after 5 requests like that I would fix it retroactively for everyone...
