Forerunner 35 GPS run won't sync or manual upload

I ran just over 24k with my friend (also wearing a Garmin) and the run wouldn't sync after. Under the details on my Forerunner 35 it looks accurate: Time 1:52:01, 24.16km, pace 4:38, cal 1168, however I have auto-lap enabled every 1k and I cannot review those, also it won't sync in the app and when I try to manually sync the .fit file on connect.garmin.com it says "we don't support the file type" so I'm guessing it is corrupt.

Can anybody take a look or suggest something? File:

- Sync your watch, backup the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder, then do a full master reset…

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files on a Forerunner 35

Sync your watch, backup the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder, then do a full master reset of your Forerunner 35 using these directions - Restoring All Default Settings
Perform a weekly cleanup of the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities to Free Up Space. The F35 seems to have problems with longer activities, so this step is important before a longer event
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
Please report back here when you encounter corrupted files again

I have used my Forerunner 35 for a while and haven't had too many issues, but I will try your cleanup steps too
