Corrupted file

Hi,

I did a 124k ride today and it seems I cannot upload it in Garmin Connect,

I also tried the fit files tool page and the Kiesewetter tool but to no avail.

Uploading the file directly into Strava does work but it only gives me the first 5k????

I d be reaaalllyy grateful is somebody could have a look at it

Thanks,

Jan

  • Ran your file through Fit File Repair Tool. However, came up with the same 5K result - 2022-10-22-10-24-54-fixed.fit. At least it is accepted by Garmin Connect. Perhaps Former Member will have a look.

  • Thanks a million for giving it a go Seilogramp

  • Hi OnlyTwo,

thanks a lot for giving it a go.  With hindsight, I indeed think that around that time the Garmin end screen popped up (w/o me touching anything to trigger it) but since I pressed the start button, this disappeared again.  At least my screens kept telling me I was making progress in terms of mileage and climbing metres.

Together with you, I suspect the memory may have been full.  I tried the suggested file recovery software but nothing pops out that could be this activity...

Found the following errorlog file that has a timestamp more or less coinciding with the end
