How is this possible to have a Max Avg Power (20 min) of 65W while I basically never went below 100 W the entire ride ?
This ride was recorded with Bkool with a Renpho bike and exported to a .fit file.

Garmin Connect - Average Power and Max Average Power Difference | Garmin Customer Support
These values are calculated in different manners and may seem to be conflicting.
Average Power
The Average Power metric is calculated only during the time the Timer on your device is running.Max Average Power
The Max Average Power metrics are calculated for the entire elapsed time of your activity whether the timer is paused or not. Any time the timer is paused will be calculated as 0 (zero) power for that time.
You can contact Garmin's Support in your country through their website at https://support.garmin.com - phone, chat, and email are listed in most countries, there.
It's pretty much not possible to contact them about their apps. You get to choose between account preferences, data privacy, lost stolen device ,help with your order, report a map problem...etc...
I ended up choosing "account preferences" as the "subject"..(I also uploaded a file using their system)
We'll see....but I'm not holding my breath,
Yes, its just a nonsense metric at this point.
I do regularly ERG-mode indoor sessions, where my power output is locked at 310W or above for the entire duration of the session, no breaks, and yet I get in Garmin Connect web interface for the session a "Max Avg Power (20 min)" of 167 W with an "Avg Power" of 327 W
