Can't access connect.garmin.com anymore

So I seem to have a little browser/connect website problem. I was asked to login again. For some reason there was a second login name saved that must have been from ages ago and I logged in with that. Ok.. great. I deleted all data associated with this login, delete all cookies, logins and history related to connect.garmin.com and now can't login anymore. Every time I try to I end up at a blank site. Going to https://connect.garmin.com/signin/ transfers me to the same blank site before I'm able to actually log in. Firefox, latest version on Win10.

No idea what to do anymore. I can't find more cookies, logindata or history related to garmin in any way. And still this *** happens. Any suggestions? I don't want to delete all data in my browser, obviously. Otherwise I'd done that already.

  • I've experienced a blank site a couple of times. Usually when I change the country setting in my Garmin Account. It resolves itself after a few hours.

    A few things to try:

Login in a incognito/private browser window (all extensions are disabled by default and the cache is empty). Try a different browser (Edge or Chrome). Try the browser in your phone. Also try disconnecting the phone from wifi and use mobile network and try again.

  • Ok, I think I kind of found the solution. Looks like Garmin is using cookies or similar things that can't be easily traced back to Garmin. When I deleted the old, empty account I remained logged in. But as the account didn't exist anymore I was sent into limbo. I started a super slow vpn to slow down internet and went to the login page and immediately stopped the loading. That at least got me the Sign Out button, and hence I signed out and then could normally log in with the account associated with my watch. Sigh.
