Is Garmin going to support RGT rides? It would make the Garmin Connect parameters like training load useful if it included my indoor races rather than only outdoor Edge rides and indoor Wahoo SYSTM.

Thanks. I should have mentioned that I use a Kickr Core.
I currently manually upload the Wahoo RGT ride data (which includes HR) to Connect, but it doesn't use the data for the fitness metrics like it does with Wahoo SYSTM files, which it takes directly.
If there is a work around to usual multiple apps and/or manual file uploads the I'm happy to do that.
Do you know if you can use the RGT and the Tacx apps at the same time with both getting the power and HR data?
You either have to use a Garmin device, or with one of the compatible apps - Tacx, and I think also Zwift now works too. I have no idea what Kickr Core is, but normally it should not be a problem to connect the sensors to multiple devices, or to multiple apps.
The Kickr Core is a smart trainer made by Wahoo. Unfortunately there are potential issues connecting it to multiple devices at the same time as it's likely to get dropouts which would be a big issues for racing on RGT.
(It does look like the Wahoo Tickr HR monitor that I use supports multiple connection, which would allow me to record via RGT as well as my Garmin Edge bike computer).
I've seen that Garmin has been connecting with other apps such as Zwift and Wahoo SYSTM, so I was hoping that they might be making progress on Wahoo RGT as well.
Hi, it's mostly just us users here so you might want to try sending this request to Garmin Support directly. My understanding is that Gamin currently does not permit RGT to upload data like the other permitted apps, as a business decision.
There is also a workaround here: https://wahoox.forum.wahoofitness.com/t/rgt-workload-to-garmin-connect/18330/29
Personally I would just dual record and use Fit File Repair Tool to merge the RGT data into the Garmin FIT file, then you have "everything". I still do this for Zwift even though Zwift is permitted to upload to Garmin, because I get more metrics directly from my Edge than from Zwift.
