I cannot find "Trim Activity" despite reading countless forum comment threads saying it is there when you click on the gear or the pencil. "Trim Activity" IS NOT THERE.

It is a running activity file and I must have forgotten to turn off the watch before driving away. I have watched several YouTube videos and read numerous comment threads on these forums explaining how to trim the unwanted part of the activity. But "Trim Activity" IS NOT THERE.

PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME THAT IT IS THERE. I HAVE FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS TO THE LETTER, AND IT IS NOWHERE TO BE SEEN. All I want is an explanation as to why everybody has it in their Garmin Connect except me.

Not all activities have this option, must be trimmable=true.

It should be saved as FIT file - use Export original to check if it's FIT, as it could be GPX saved by older watches.

Which activity type is the run? For Running and Trail Running Trim activity works. You can change type to be able to trim and after the trim change back.
