Link Account Failed for MyFitnessPal, but Garmin thinks it is connected

I just bought my first Garmin smartwatch (Venu 2s) on 9.22.22. I am trying to connect or link the Garmin Connect with MyFitnessPal (MFP). I have tried to delete both apps and start again. In MFP, when I click the Garmin app and then “Connect to MFP” it says in connect.Garmin.com, “your MFP and Garmin Connect accounts are now connected” under the Health Stats tab > Calories In/Out. . However, it does not show up as connected in MFP, or the Garmin Connect app under "More" > Settings > Connected Apps. The only Connect App is Apple Health. It shows Available Apps with MFP.

I thought I would disconnect MFP from Garmin, but it doesn't allow me to disconnect. It only gives me the option to connect. HELP!!!!!!!!

I even tried creating another myfitnesspal account, yet the same error :(

Yeah, searched on the myfitnesspal forums as well and many more with the same issue (and no solution)...

Guess it just doesn't work so not going to spend more time on this for now...

Please help!! ive read some of the other posts and tried to make it work but it just doesnt! Im trying to connect Garmin connect and My fitness pal, each time i try i get an error saying "That MyFitnessPal account is already connected with a Garmin Connect account. Please try another" ive checked and made sue that i only have 1 garmin account and 1 MFP account but still the same message.

Garmin fix this please! Both apps DO NOT list the other app as a connected app, however when trying to connect, it says "That MyFitnessPal account is already connected with a Garmin Connect account. Please try another"....yet as I said, neither app is listed in the other app as a "Connected app"...so? Please address this.

Same problem here. Garmin refuses the connection every time saying "That MyFitnessPal account is already connected with a Garmin Connect account. Please try another." I hope Garmin will fix this.

Can't connect to my fitness pal app on my Garmin lily. Getting the error message "That MyFitnessPal account is already connected with a Garmin Connect account. Please try another." can you help please? No connected apps shown on each account (Garmin and my fitness pal) yet receiving this message.

I just set up a new account in My fitness Pal and in Garmin but when i am trying to connect the 2 it says that my fitness pal is already connected to a garmin account. i cant see any connections on either account for me to disconnect and try re connect.

There is currently an issue with the connection to MFP: Link Account Failed for MyFitnessPal, but Garmin thinks it is connected
