Link Account Failed for MyFitnessPal, but Garmin thinks it is connected

Not sure whether it is really the case, but I suspect you accidentally created multiple Garmin Connect accounts, and have already connected MFP with one of them, while trying now to add it to the other one.

It is a relatively frequent problem, because a lot of people create one account with Garmin Connect, and then use different credentials for Garmin Express, while it is necessary using the same identical account on both sides.

The problem is how do I delete it - all or both.

Have a look at the hint #4 of the Troubleshooting guide for (some) data missing after syncing. Although for another issue, it could work in your case too. 

thank you.  Unfortunately Garmin support said it isn't their problem and I need to contact MFP even though he said Garmin app  thinks there is more than one MFP somewhere in the account though nothing shows up on his computer.  I did use the same account a very, very long time ago for a Garmin GPS that I had to update the maps (way b/4 GPS systems in cars).

The Garmin connect will not link with myfitnesspal account, displays below error "Thar myfitnesspal account is already connected with a Garmin connect account. Please try another "

Title says it all basically...

When trying to link from garmin connect to myfitnesspal I get the message that the myfitnesspal account is already linked to a garmin connect account.

When looking in myfitnesspal under the apps there is nothing listed as connected. Also in Garmin MFP is not connected (just available).

Trying to connect from MFP takes me to my garmin account giving me the error message mentioned above.

Trying from the connect mobile app just gives me a 'connection failed'.

Should this still be working? And if so, am I missing something?
