Fix Fit file

Hi There,

Last Friday I managed to get up the Stelvio Pass on my bike only to find that the file would not upload from my Garmin Edge 1000. This was the only cycling file that mattered! I tried to use the utility I found online, but with no success. Can somebody advise/help me with this? My Stelvio Fit file

Fixed using Fit File Repair Tool*

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Sync your device then remove all activity fit files from the device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
Please report back here when you encounter corrupted files again

* Requires a licensed version of Fit File Repair Tool on a Windows computer with Microsoft Access installed.

I believe this could also be repaired using FIT File Tools, using the section remover without any adjustments. I did not test this but it should also work.
