Feature Request: Would like to be able to edit split distances and manually add/remove individual splits when creating a PacePro strategy

When creating a PacePro Strategy, editing of splits is limited to editing the goal pace of a split. Recognizing that the overall distance of a specific PacePro strategy based on a course must remain constant, It would be great to be able to edit the distances of individual splits, and add or remove individual splits, while keeping overall distance constant.

Selecting the "Elevation Changes" option is very helpful in many cases. However it sometimes misses short but significant elevation changes. The ability to manually add a split for such a situation would be helpful.

Another instance where this ability would be useful is a workout which which includes a warmup and cooldown period based on time not distance. These slower portions that don't fit into Mile/Kilometer or Elevation Change segments could be manually added or adjusted from pre-set Mile/Kilometer/Elevation Change splits.

  • When setting up a pace plan for any course with steep climbs and descents, PacePro split times are absolute unrealistic. Whoever designed this feature and come up with the equation to calculate the split times has never run or even hiked in the mountains.
For longer races it would be necessary to add times at aid stations, which can in very long races easily be 1 hour or even longer, when you need a nap in the second night.
Races have intermediate cut-off times. Even with the negative split option it often is insufficient to make the first 1, 2, or 3 cut-off times, as many races are using very extrem positive split in the setting of those cutoff times.
Overall, PacePro works pretty much only in situations where it is not really needed. And where it would be really helpful, it is utterly useless.
