FIT File Repair Request

I recorded a very long run using my Garmin Epix 2 with the beta v9.33 installed along with a HRM Pro strap. I was unable to sync with neither the GC mobile nor website, nor connecting with cable via Garmin Express. I copied the file from my device and tried the Garmin Online FIT Repair tool but that didn't work (says "only FIT files allowed, but it is one!). Not entirely sure how to to use the tool that runs off MS Access so asking the forum here for help. HRM-Pro/, Tri, and Swim will sometimes corrupt activity fit files

Update the HRM firmware How Do I Update the HRM-Pro Software Using the Garmin Connect App?
Note that HR data download after the activity is usually for swimming or when for some reason you could not wear your watch during an activity.
During the HRM-Pro download process keep the strap and watch in close proximity
If issues persist even after the firmware update, contact Garmin Support

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Sync your watch then remove all activity fit files from the device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
Please report back here when you encounter corrupted files again

Can anyone help me? Have tried to upload a Fit file from my Garmin (which did not upload to my app and Strava, despite being saved - had issues with another activity last week), but it seems it is corrupt. Tried all the various Fit repair tools, but just getting error messages. www.dropbox.com/.../DEVICE.FIT

Thank you for the fix and the advice! As you mentioned, it gave an error message upon import to Garmin Connect (website) but it worked. Thank you so much for helping me and this community! Much appreciated. And thank you for the congrats - it was quite a race! I will cherish this finish and its great to have the record of it thanks to you.

Was there no Garmin device used for this activity? Just a 4iiii power meter?

Yes, its only a 4iiii power meter. I have an old spinning bike and use the 4iiii HRM to convert the signal from the power meter on the bike (ANT+) to BLE. I have an old Forerunner 45, so it cannot receive power meter data. THe solution has worked fine for a time, but today suddenly the file was corrupted. Maybe easiest solution would be to get a new Garmin watch;) Again, thanks for the fix!
