Fit file fix

Hi,

Could someone help me repair this FIT file? I tried loading it to Garmin Connect and it says "we don't support the file type you tried to import". Seems to be working on my watch OK, but won't sync to the Connect app.

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files on a Forerunner 35

Sync your watch, backup the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder, then do a full master reset of your Forerunner 35 using these directions - Restoring All Default Settings
Perform a weekly cleanup of the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities to Free Up Space
Please report back here when you encounter corrupted files again

* Requires a licensed version of Fit File Repair Tool on a Windows computer with Microsoft Access installed.

seilogramp Hi mate,

i see you are good with fixing these corrupt files and thought id reach out and see if this one is an easy fix

i did my first ironman 70.3 on the weekend and this file has somehow ended up corrupt

ive tried a lot to fix it and got no where

However, there might be a problem with the HRM-Pro causing the corruption, as mentioned here:

HRM-Pro/, Tri, and Swim will sometimes corrupt activity fit files

Update the HRM firmware How Do I Update the HRM-Pro Software Using the Garmin Connect App?
Note that HR data download after the activity is usually for swimming or when for some reason you could not wear your watch during an activity.
During the HRM-Pro download process keep the strap and watch in close proximity
If issues persist even after the firmware update, contact Garmin Support

Thanks heaps!! you're a legend, means a lot to be able to see it.

could it mean there is something wrong with the heart rate monitor ? its only quite new first use in the water?

i saved it to the watch while i was still wearing it
