It will send you to a new challenge each Monday, and each time with other random people. The level of the new challenge depends on your result from the past week. Review your result and the ranking from the last week in "Past Challenges" further down on that page.
Yes. I'm taking a 2 week break from running, so I went from the 100k challenge to the 45k challenge this week because I placed ninth in the 100k challenge last week with 25,393 steps. Totally expected.
9516708, would be interested in what you see for your step totals and challenge ranking for last week.
I don't think you understand, I know how it works what I'm saying is my progress had disappeared and it has returned to the beginning. I won the last 5 previous challenges beginning at 35 000 twice then 70,000 twice then 125,000 once then 5th on 125000 I should be on the next level which is 130000 but its returned to 30,000., but hey life is too short to worry about such mediocrity
Thanks for your reply.
Please post a screenshot of the results of the challenge from the last week, and also the same graph as seilogramp posted, or better yet the yearly one, with the weekly totals: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/report/29/wellness/last_year
I think it mostly depends on how you did the previous week, regardless of how well you did before that. If you're saying that last week you had over 125k steps, placed near the top of the challenge, yet you were moved back to the 30k challenge, then should probably report it to Garmin Support.
This is something else. You posted the Insights graph. It has nothing to do with challenges. Click on the link I posted, and make a screenshot of the graph on that page. Then go to the Challenges page and make a screenshot of the results of the last week step challenge.
Final my point agreed we are both on the same page.
The last couple of times I won the challenge both 30k and 70k but was kept on the for two weeks even though I had won. Which I thought was odd normally you move on to the next stage.
