I just finished a 30+km hike... With my Forerunner 35 at 1/4 bars of power, I tapped Save" and the screen came up acknowledging the activity was saved. The watch then froze and later ran out of battery.
After plugging the watch in to charge, I don't see the activity and after connecting to a computer, I notice today's activity file is 0KB. Is there anything to be done?

Yes, it's empty.
The F35 has a history of issues with long activities. Nonetheless, there is a slim chance that the file has been deleted, yet is still on the watch. You can try the recovery methods mentioned here - how do I get my activity back if I delete it?
If you do manage to recover something, it will be corrupt and require further repairs. Zip then post the fit file(s) here.
tip: when the ACTIVITIES folder contains many files, time to backup-clean the ACTIVITIES folder
