Apostrophe in gear brand & model being replaced with weird characters

I tried to add my new running shoes in Garmin Connect and in the "Brand & Model" field I entered "Saucony Men's Freedom 5". But when I saved the gear, the name was changed to "Saucony Men's Freedom 5". There seems to be a new defect in Connect where it's replacing the apostrophe character with some sort of hexadecimal character escape sequence. Does anyone else have that problem? (I'm running Microsoft Edge browser on Windows if that matters.)

    Yes, indeed some characters are being double-HTML-encoded. In the time being, before it gets fixed (if ever), you can use the apostrophe character shown on the next line, instead: 

    ’
    It works fine. Simply copy & paste it into the name instead of the classical single quote. Typographically it is the correct choice anyway.
