Synchronisation Garmin Connect with Komoot without name and activty type

I planned activities with komoot and synchronize it with garmin connect. In Garmin Fexnix 7x i can see the track with name and type. When i synchronize it back to komoot the name and the type ist not transfer to komoot. Is this a bug in garmin connect or on komoot side?

    The name is not included in the activity FIT data file. Applications like Garmin Connect, or Strava then create the name themselves, often allowing the user to chose one of several patterns. I am not well familiar with Komoot, but from your description it looks like they do not assign any names to the activities. I would not call it a bug, rather it is the way they do it.

    In contrary, the type of the activity, is included in the activity data, so if it does not appear at Komoot, you'll need to speak to them.

    Thank you for your information. I see, that all started predefined tracks inside navigation ended in a with activity type "other". The track has the type "hiking".

    The Navigation activity is of the type "other", if you want to have it recorded as hiking, you have to start the Hiking activity and then from the Hiking activity menu you can start the navigation. Do not use the standalone Navigation activity.

    Thank you. The Garmin provide many settings. it wasnt easy at the beginning.
