Import Data from FitIndex Scale

I have a Fit Index scale that I love. I can export the data into CSV. I would like to import that into garmin connect.

The export is CSV, I think garmin would just have to allow the import of this data?

Yes, it does. See the page Garmin Connect Web - Data Import

The CSV data file must have the following format:

    Body
    Date,Weight,BMI,Fat
    "02-01-2022","75,4","23,27","14,10"
    "01-01-2022","75,0","23,15","14,00"
    ...
  • As soon as you drag the CSV file into the importer, it says "this looks like it's fit bit data" and even though I tried to go through it, it fails.

I also have a lot more fields than that. My scale tracks Body Weight, BMI, Body Fat %, Water %, Skeletal Muscle, Fat-free Body Weight, Subcutaneous Fat, Visceral Fat, Muscle Mass, Bone Mass, Protein, Basal Metabolism, and Body Age.

  • The file must be exactly in the format shown. Remove the rest, do not forget to verify the header, and try again. Other fields than those shown will not be imported anyway, AFAIK.
