edit all activity data

Hi - I'd like to edit/append all my workout data after finishing a workout. Sometimes I forget to start my watch on time, or I do a workout but didn't wear my watch.

I want domain control over all the data I can enter in and have it reflected in the algorithm for my workouts. It seems to be an easy fix for Connect that it puts a marker in my workouts that it was appended/edited/manually-created so it can be distinguished from something naturally generated from the device.

I don't care how these show up in public workouts (you can prevent edited workouts from public view or prevent edited data from going to Strava, for example), I just want the ability to internally record and reflect the work I'm doing if there is a glitch with my device.

You already do something similar to this with treadmill calibration, so it is possible with a run for example, to add or edit time/distance, take away false peaks in heart rate. It would also be useful to be able to demarcate a run for example, if you set a fastest mile, but then cooled down for 0.2 miles, to be able to break the run into "two events" so the 1 mile run stands on its own as the recorded sprint that it actually was.

Thanks!

What exactly do you miss when you use the standard Edit function on the activity page?

You could use the Trim function for that purpose.
