How to pause the training plan?

I have a marathon training plan.
But due to family reasons I do not have to possibility to commit to it for a few weeks.

Was trying to find a way to pause the training plan, but can't see it.
Will appreciate it if someone can help me to do that via web or connect app.

    Why? It is quick and easy. Reschedule the start and end, remove the workouts you already did, and do not want to repeat, and it is done. The Pause is only needed at the "Coach" plans, since there is certain adaptive mechanism, learning from the past workouts, so such simple rescheduling would not work with it.

    I'm currently using Galloway's HM plan which is adaptive and may be paused as mentioned above.

    I don't think it's a good idea to pause a non-adaptive training plan because your training status after the pause is unknown to the plan. Your performance may improve or deteriorate, but the plan is fixed. As for the length of the break, the new plan should overlap with some of the workouts you have already done to get your body back in sync with the plan.

  • I went to my Garmin connect account and tried thi procedure but in the Calendar section there is no such thing as dragging the workout and when clicking on it you can reschedule only the single workout, i dont see anywhere the shift entire training plan option.
