Inaccurate GPS Data

Hi

I’m having this problem today and my husband did yesterday, I’ve emailed Garmin direct  help  as I believe thus forum is seldom looked at  by them. Closed on Monday for 4th July holiday 

The gps on my forerunner 245 is not correct lately

In looking at the map of a run I just completed, which was an out and back run, it showed me running somewhere I didn’t go….like nowhere close.

it actually looks like someone else’s run.

why is this and how do I fix it?

Me and my buddy are having the same problem. 
my last couple runs are nowhere near where I went. 
Hope we get an answer to this. 

At some point they look as if they are like a 100 meters of but the first half is completely wrong.
Also my distance stopped adding up at some point resulting in a different speed/km and then the next km was the complete opposite. The end time and km do add up to the feeling I had when i ran.  

And me too. Apparently I start running in the middle of the harbour and fly above a hill. Wildly inaccurate mapping and speeds as of 29 June in my time zone, 28th June in US. I use garmin for activities most days, so my watch knows how to find satellites.

Same, and the bad GPS data incorrectly adjust v02max and other training metrics.
