Fit File won't upload - "we don't support the file type you tried to import"

Having trouble syncing attached FIT file - won't sync, won't import. I tried using FIT File tools: It fixed the file but it said I swam 13 miles in 50 miles..lulz. Any help to repair would be appreciated.

Thank you seilogramp ! This is the 2nd time I have had a corrupted FIT file (both times with swimming, both times using a swimming HRM). If it happens a 3rd time I think I'm going to break down and buy the tool.

File imported successfully, thanks ...

Also, on your Forerunner 935 suggest syncing the watch then removing all activity fit files from the device using these directions - Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
