Web now shows status of your used sensors

I just noticed that Connect Web shows status of the sensors you have been using. Perhaps this is old news, but I just noticed it and couldn't find posts about it.

It's when you click on devices on top-right:

  • Sensors dont show up for me.

    Maybe only for expensiv watches... VA4 here.

  • Might be, the exercises done on those days were with Fenix 6S. Need to try if my Edge would update sensor data.

  • Works here for VA4, although last date used on 1 of the sensors is incorrect. And I just put a fresh battery in it and tested it so the date should be current.
    Maybe this will be usefull for staying on top of battery status. But so far it's only 50/50 here.

  • I have an epix 2. I see a lot of sensors that I have never used. I suspect this is because I fix a lot of corrupt fit files for forum members and test them by uploading to my own account. I then delete the activity. However, that's not enough to clear this from Garmin's database.

  • Hmm.

    I'm using HRM and Tempe, none shows up. Strange.

  • I just noticed this today too. Searching the web and forums brought up only this post. My question is whether this list can be edited.

    I just started using a new Egde 1040 Solar which allows automatic sensor setup. Mine didn't work completely and it left of my Varia taillight radar. Turns out the sensor list exceeded 25 devices so I assume it cut off the sensors beyond that, including my Varia.

    It would be nice to be able to clear unused sensors from this list. Anyone have any additional info?

    They will disappear automatically after 90 days of not using them. It is written just above the sensor list.

  • Hi - I see this and the status updates but there seem to be some inconsistencies is what and when is reported / updated;

    My Powermeter has BLE and Ant+ but I only seem to get an update from BLE (the "Ant+" shown above is from where I named the connections on my watch (Fenix 6Pro) incorrectly before I realised how to tell them apart.

    For the new Di2 (new Shimano 12sp) what are the two separate sensors? I can't tell from the icons and the top one in the list sometimes doesn't update. Also, some seem to update at the start of a ride and some at the end.

    Like I say, the inconsistency is hard to work out.
