I am afraid not. Which metrics would you like to recalculate? Most of them won't be affected by the additional weight anyway, but there might be a solution with a 3rd party Connect IQ app, if you tell what metrics you are interested in.

yeah so its basically just the training status metrics i.e. excercis load, training effect. its not a big problem since I get my running stats like in every other run but the app thinks im not making any progress since im slower with same heart rate etc... 

is their a way we as users can pitch Garmin some ideas for future updates? I think this would be a cool feature:)
