My open water swim calories do not get added to total active calories. For example, today the watch says I burned 411 calories swimming. But on the app, it says I have 215 active calories for today. Has anyone run into this? Have a fix?
As a side note, I'm pretty annoyed with Garmin for swimming in general. The watch really struggles to count my ocean yards -- just freezes on a number for a long time. I thought this was due to having an old watch so I got a new one and... same problem. Unfortunately, I didn't discover this until I'd had it for two months or so and Garmin won't stand by their product so I am S.O.L. Too bad, as I like other things about this brand.
