Garmin Coach Amy training plan bugs.

1. My previous Supersets were typically 2x(200+600+1,61+recover 4m jog)+0,81 km jog for cool down next one is 2x(200+600+1.61+recover 1,61 jog) seems that there is some mistake.

2. My tempo runs are slower than goal pace repeats and have longer recover times. Typical goal pace repeat 3x(8min(4:15-4:30)+recover 3min) and tempo runs are  3x(1,61km(4:41-4:54)+ recover 5 min). According description tempo runs for 10k shall be with 5k pace... 

  • Yes, agreed. I found the tempo runs to be slower than the goal pace repeats but if they are supposed to be 5k pace, they should be faster than 10k pace, right? So more like 4:00-15 for you? And 5k pace is definitely not tempo pace - if we're talking about threshold pace, that's more like 10 mile pace for me. And then I would expect longer intervals, like 2000-3000 m at tempo pace. And I had that weird 1 mile jog in one of the supersets, too. I thought it was a mistake.

  • I was in 7th week. I made 1mile time trial in 5:25 (comparing to 6:05 8 weeks ago), but there were no change in training paces. Now have changed coach to Greg and it seems more adequate: speed intervals 5x(1min 3:50-4:02 + 1min jog for recover)+4(1min 3:22-3:34+ 1min jog for recover) and easy runs with pace 5:01-5:39.
