Weekend challenges

Good morning,

is there any way to make the weekend challenges longer?  If you make them longer, they won't be weekend challenges anymore...  maybe weekly challenges?  Just a thought, that way people who work long shifts on the weekend, every weekend have a shot at them.

  • You can select you own dates and make the challenge any days you like from 1 to 30 days long.

    If you create group you can create group challenges that can be of any length.

  • Or are you meaning the Garmin weekend challenges? There are week long challenges and two week long challenges, weekend challenges and month long challenges. The one time challenges (like run 5K, 10K, bike 40K or walk 3 miles) are only weekends from Friday to Sunday. Even if people work in the weekends I think that most can spare 0.5-1.5 hour if they really want to do the challenge. A good idea could be to do the challenge during the commute.

  • When I was younger, I'd commute through downtown Cleveland at 4 in the morning.  I'm sure I could pick up a few badges that way, but as I got older, I'm not up for it anymore.  And going for a 10K run after a 12-hour shift and a 1 hour commute each way, yeah, I could do it, but it would be more of a grind, rather than something I'd enjoy.  Hence the suggestion.
