Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar shows different user profile on watch and on garmin connect app although connect app linked to the correct Garmin watch

Recently got my wife the Fenix 6 plus and now her user profile is on my watch (Fenix 7) and my work outs shows on her garmin connect app although my user profile is on my connect app. When i check the connect apps it shows her watch connected to her app and my watch connected to my app. We do share appleID account but have different emails and garmin accounts. How do I get my work out to sync with my garmin connect app again? Thanks

I'd suggest making a factory reset of both devices, removing them from the Garmin Connect Mobile app, from Garmin Connect Web, from Garmin Express, as well as from any other Garmin app (Dive, Explore,...), and then starting from the scratch, taking care that you do not use the both watches on a single phone, or a single computer.
