I’m doing my second 5k Plan with coach Greg with Garmin Foreruner 45 watch. The first plan I did, with the same watch, was fine, but this second plan is stuck on the same routine, no progress!. It only offers three workouts: Easy run, Tempo repeats and Goal Pace repeats, and it doesn’t change them at all, for example: the goal pace repeats consist of 8 intervals of 400m then 200m slow run and does not change over the days, always the same.
In my first plan, I got other workouts, sprint repeats, Uphill repeats, etc, which don’t appear in this plan any more.
I’ve been training consistently and haven’t skipped a single workout.
However, and this may be the issue, I’m shifting the training days on the calendar, as I’m adding two weight training workouts per week manually, but the number of run workouts is still 3 to 4 per week, this worked fine in my first plan.
Now I’m 10 days from my “race day” but I’m doing always the same.
Any help much appreciated.
